BQE Software Inc., makers of the popular BillQuick time billing and project management software, announced today that it has earned Gold Developer Status in the new Intuit Developer Network program.

After years of research, Intuit recently implemented a new strategy for its marketplace [http://marketplace.intuit.com/]. First, the company established new standards for third-party packages. In order to qualify for Gold Developer Status, BillQuick had to first pass a formal QuickBooks Technical Review process by a third party certification laboratory. The independent QuickBooks Technical Review ensures applications meet the high quality standard of operation and compatibility expected by customers. The review verifies third party applications appropriately integrate, exchange data and are compatible with the QuickBooks platform. Peter Vogel, also known as “QuickBooks Alpha Geek,” awarded BillQuick 9.8/10 for its deep and broad integration with QuickBooks. BillQuick is the only software to earn such a high score. Based on feedback and input from accountants, engineers, architects and other professionals, BQE Software released the Timeslips-To-BillQuick Conversion Utility. BQE's utility converts more Timeslips data, more intelligently, than any other tool. The utility significantly reduces the pain in the bottom line by minimizing the loss of billable hours that otherwise occurs with manual data transfer.

BQE Software released a new web-based add-on module, Web i Reports for its top-rated BillQuick software. Web i Reports joins Web i Time & Expense and Web i Client & Project in the Web i module group. Users can now generate HTML reports from the BillQuick database on an intranet or across the Internet.

BQE Software updated AutoReporter for QuickBooks, its premier report workflow automation solution. Enhancements include support for all QuickBooks versions as well as multiple databases. Now accountants and other QuickBooks users can schedule and deliver reports from multiple company databases.

Enhanced BQE Software reseller options by enhancing and expanding the current program. The new opportunity, BillQuick Advisor Program, allows QuickBooks ProAdvisors, consultants, accountants and others to choose the level that best matches their resources and commitment: ProAdvisor, Advisor or Affiliate.

BQE Software released upgrades to nine of its add-on modules for BillQuick. These include Web i Time & Expense 2004, Web i Client & Project 2004, BillQuick Palm 2004, BillQuick CE 2004, BillQuick Assistant 2004, Cardex 2004, and QuickUpdate 2004. Upgrades cover both standard and enterprise editions.
