Enterprise

BillQuick Enterprise delivers features mostly needed by firms with 20 or more employees. With many employees, it is often critical to view, approve and analyze time and expenses together on one screen for all projects, all employees, all vendors, or a filtered subset of items. The Reviewer screen provides exceptional flexibility. Also, many larger firms have clients who demand special invoice numbering structure. And they need a more robust database to handle a heavier load. BillQuick Enterprise has all this.

Overall, BillQuick Enterprise focuses on the special needs of larger firms, providing capabilities found in the Basic and Pro Editions. It boosts efficiency, flexibility and scalability for a larger professional services firm.

Pro

BillQuick Pro boosts performance and is ideal for firms with 5 or more employees. With more employees comes the need for more efficient management of hours charged to projects. BillQuick’s built-in submission and approval workflow informs managers and others when they have time and expenses waiting for approval. BillQuick even warns you when billing that there are unapproved items. Also with more employees, you want to optimize time and expense entry. BillQuick lets you assign projects (activities and expenses items also) to employees and create positive self-policing by allocating hours for tasks and reminding them with each time entry how many hours are left.

Working on more projects, BillQuick Pro provides the Project Journal and Link Files options so you can centralize project information about qualitative issues, billing decisions, collections and so on. You can also track Purchase Order, Received Items (hours worked and materials used) and Vendor Bills. This flavor of BillQuick includes the "Pay When Paid" capability, informing you to a pay a vendor when the associated client pays you. BillQuick Pro also includes Retainer History, providing one screen for creating retainer invoices and tracking receipts, applications and balances. BillQuick Pro also allows you to bill a percent of an estimate or budget and edit manual invoices. Invoices (and reports) can be saved as PDFs. Security feature even lets you assign report permissions to users. Also, BillQuick Pro includes a dashboard with user-selected key performance indicators.

Basic

BillQuick Basic provides valuable features for a small professional services firm. It efficiently handles time and expense entry, overtime tracking, compensation time, personal time off, and other special "hours". Staff as well as consultants can record time and expenses. All hours and expenses are charged to projects and phases, and carried through to budgets and contract amounts for real-time comparisons. Along with default rates for employees and consultants, special bill rates can be defined in service fee schedules and assigned to any project. BillQuick automatically applies the correct rate for every time entry you record.

Each project has its own billing arrangement. It can be fixed fee (lump sum), hourly (time & materials), recurring, percentage, or cost-plus. You can also track marketing costs with a marketing contract type. Projects can be billed anytime. Standard business rules determine the default bill amount for each project, then you decide what additional financial decisions should be made. You can create a manual invoice, review project bills, set a billing schedule, and batch bill. Invoices can be printed and emailed.
