Common
Scenarios
-
You have not
received all the information
needed to invoice a client
but you want to get what you
do have into BillQuick.
-
You start to
record a manual invoice and
discover something is not
right. You need to wait for
a manager or employee to
clarify an item.
BillQuick 2008's
Manual Invoice feature now
includes the ability to record an
invoice, then edit it later. You
start by selecting a previous
manual invoice from the
drop-down list. All of its items
display.
Now, change an
amount for any item. Change the
description. Add more items with
their own descriptions and
amounts. In addition, you can
choose line items from a
drop-down list. The list
contains both activities and
expenses. The activity or
expense description carries to
the description field on the
manual invoice. You can keep,
edit it or replace it entirely.
Add an amount and you're done.
Choices -
Processing an Edited Invoice
When you click
,
BillQuick knows you are working
with a processed invoice. It
gives you two options:
-
Replace the
existing manual invoice with
the new one.
-
Save the
manual invoice as a new
invoice.
Pretty neat, huh?
