Architects

 Founded
and led by J. Michael Leinback, AIA, NCARB, in 1992, JML is located in
northeastern Texas. This architectural firm provides services on varying
project types including educational, religious, industrial, retail, office,
and single-family residential.
A
particularly unique aspect of JML Architects is that it utilizes a
virtual office model. It can bring together as few as 2 or as many as 30
designers and Building Information Modeling (BIM) technicians. The
foundation for this is not only its extensive use of technology but also the
development of strong relationships with a number of individual designers
and small design firms located throughout the United States. This GDT
(Geographically-Dispersed Teams) configuration allows JML to “staff up”
quickly and efficiently to align with workload and schedule. At the same
time, JML remains “lean and mean” during economic downturns.
How
has BillQuick helped you in your business?
"Since
the inception of JML Architects, we have sought to leverage technology to
the greatest extent possible, including the utilization of software for
accounting and timekeeping. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to
implement various A/E accounting programs, we returned to QuickBooks in 2003
as our primary accounting system. However, we know this would be viable
only if it could be supplemented by an A/E-based add-on. BillQuick filled
that need very nicely, and at a reasonable cost.
