On November 9, 2009, Orange Loft was acquired by BQE Software Inc. BQE's flagship product, BillQuick, is widely regarded as the most comprehensive time billing system on the market today.

BQE and Orange Loft share a common heritage. The most salient difference is that the founders of Orange Loft were trained as architects while the founder of BQE was trained as a structural engineer. We all believe in the power of bringing together professionals from various disciplines to help us accomplish our objectives and complete our projects. The synergy between the parties improves our own designs and benefits the greater society.

It was in that spirit that Orange Loft and BQE decided to join forces. By combining the resources and talents of our companies, we can better serve the A&E industry, which is our mutual passion and heritage.

The core mission of the original Orange Loft founders remains: developing software that streamlines the organizational and management tasks of architects and engineers. Orange Loft has worked since 1997 developing successive versions of ArchiOffice® to integrate these disparate tasks. And we do this on a platform that supports both PCs and Macs, a feature that makes it available to virtually every computer in the world.
