Is BillQuick Online reliable, secure, and confidential? Is our data safe? Where is the data hosted?
We take all reasonable precautions to keep your information safe and secure. Our state-of-the-art redundant server cluster is hosted and professionally managed by Rackspace, a recognized leader in high-end hosting.
Where can I find our invoices or get a copy of an invoice?
The BillQuick account owner can log in to their account, go to the Account section and click on Payment History. All the invoices/payments ever posted to the account will be listed there.
Does BillQuick Online integrate with Intuit QuickBooks Online?
Yes. BillQuick Online is an Intuit-approved program and is listed on the Intuit App Center. When you choose to try BillQuick Online from the App Center, you are immediately provided with the essentials in BillQuick Online to start integrating data in no time.
Can I keep certain people/clients from seeing specific projects? How do we set permissions?
BillQuick Online provides the employee control feature. This allows you to specify which Projects / Clients/ Activity / Expenses are supposed to be seen by the employee. You can give anyone permission to access any project, or keep anyone from seeing any project. Refer to Help File in the application for details.

What is BillQuick Online?
BillQuick Online is a subscription-based, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model of BillQuick offered by BQE Software, Inc. It is a browser-based version of BillQuick desktop that can be hosted either by you (Web Suite) or by us (BillQuick Online). Being CSS-compliant, it can work on various devices like PC, laptop, iPad, iPhone, etc.
BillQuick Online is a hybrid SaaS solution. 'Hybrid' means that it does not store data solely at the hosted site (called 'cloud') but also at the local site. When desired, the user can synchronize the hosted copy of the company database and the local copy on the user's PC. They always have a copy of their data in case they cannot access BillQuick Online.
Sign-up, subscriptions, account management and other aspects of this SaaS solution are automated. You can even synchronize your online data with the desktop database.
Is BillQuick Online reliable, secure, and confidential? Is our data safe? Where is the data hosted?

Can we export our data if we don't want to use BillQuick Online anymore? Which format is used for the export?
As of now BillQuick Online does not have export capabilities, however you can Sync the data with your BillQuick Desktop local data file and use the export utility of BillQuick Desktop application.
Can we install BillQuick Online on our own server?
No. BillQuick Online is a hosted model only. We maintain the servers, the security, all the updates and improvements so you don't have to worry about anything. However we have a non-hosted version that can be hosted on your own server.
Are there signup fees? Termination fees? Any hidden fees we should know about?
Absolutely not. We don't charge signup fees, termination fees, or any additional fees. The price you pay is simply the fixed monthly fee based on the plan you've chosen.
Can you customize BillQuick Online for us?
While we don't offer customization options, you can always use the custom labels feature to customize the lexicon.

Yes, both plans for BillQuick Online include phone as well as email support.
What is SSL and will it keep my communications absolutely secure? / Why do I see https instead of http?
Secure Socket Layer (SSL), are cryptographic protocols that provide security for communications over networks such as the Internet. https is way to tell the browser and server to communicate using SSL.
Can we pay for BillQuick Online a year in advance? Do you accept POs or payment by check?
Yes, you can pay for a year in advance. In fact, as of now this is the only plan that we offer. We will be rolling out the quarterly plans soon. We do not accept payment by check or PO. You can use Visa, MasterCard, Amex or Discover cards to make your payments.
How often is my data backed up? Can I back up my own data?
Yes. In addition to always maintaining two copies of your data, we automatically back up your data every day. It is stored on firewall-protected, redundant servers, so your data is safe from hardware and software failures, hackers and viruses. Because we update your records with every change, we cannot restore your file to a previous point in time.

BillQuick Online does not currently have export capabilities; however, you can sync the data with your BillQuick desktop local data file and use the Export utility of that application.
Can I switch to another plan of BillQuick Online after I have started using it?
You can upgrade (e.g., from Pro to Enterprise) at any time by going into your account and selecting a higher plan. However, if you want to downgrade from an existing plan (e.g., from Enterprise to Pro), you can do so only at your annual renewal date. The account owner is the only authorized person who can upgrade or downgrade the account.
Will I get instructions to help me get started?
Yes. After signing up, you will get a detailed email of instructions regarding how to use BillQuick Online. In addition, you can contact our training staff. Moreover, your subscription to BillQuick Online includes email support; you can email our support team at support@bqe.com. There is also a help file within the application, besides other guides.

Account Billing, Invoices, Cancellation, Account Owner, etc.

What is an account owner? How can I change the account owner on my account?
The account owner is the person who originally set up your BillQuick Online account. The account owner is the only person who can upgrade plans, change credit card billing information, and cancel accounts. Account owner cannot be changed online. You can change the owner of an account by sending an email request to Support.
How do we update or change our credit card?
The account owner can change the credit card used for billing by going to the Account section and clicking on the "Account Profile".
Can we change our BillQuick Online URL?
No. The URL will be provided by BQE Software Inc and cannot be customized.
How do we upgrade or downgrade?
You can upgrade (e.g. from Pro to Enterprise) at any time by going into your account and selecting a higher plan. However, if you wish to downgrade from an existing plan (e.g. from Enterprise to Pro) you can do so only at your yearly renewal date. The account owner is the only person who can upgrade or downgrade the account.
Where can I find our invoices or get a copy of an invoice?

How do I get help related to the application if I do not have phone support?
Your subscription to BillQuick Online includes technical support. There is also a help file located within the application. Help related to any feature is listed in the help file and discussed in detail.
What payment methods do you accept?
BillQuick Online accepts payment through all international credit cards including American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.

QuickBooks Online Integration

Does BillQuick Online integrate with QuickBooks Desktop?
Yes, you can sync the BillQuick Online data with your BillQuick desktop company database and then from there sync it with QuickBooks. So the process would essentially involve data sync between BillQuick Online<->BillQuick Desktop and BillQuick Desktop<-->QuickBooks. Check the BillQuick Knowledgebase for more details on this.
Does BillQuick Online integrate with Intuit QuickBooks Online?
Yes. BillQuick Online is an Intuit-approved program and is listed on the Intuit App Center. When you choose to try BillQuick Online from the App Center, you are immediately provided with the essentials in BillQuick Online to start integrating data in no time.
Do we need any sync tool to sync data between the two apps?
BillQuick Online has a robust Sync Center that integrates data between BillQuick Online and QuickBooks Online. All you need to do is sign in with your QuickBooks Online account details and authorize BillQuick Online to connect to your account, and access the data.
How can I disconnect or de-authorize BillQuick Online from accessing my QuickBooks Online data?
BillQuick Online can be disconnected or de-authorized from a QuickBooks Online company at any time using the Disconnect button in the Sync Center. QuickBooks Online users also have the option of disconnecting BillQuick Online by choosing the Disconnect option from the Intuit App Center.
Which users of BillQuick Online are allowed to connect/disconnect or sync data between BillQuick Online and QuickBooks Online company files?
Any valid BillQuick Online user has a privilege to use the QuickBooks Online Sync Center. Also, if the company is connected or disconnected by a user, it has implications for all the users of that company file. All Sync Center operations are company-specific and not user-specific.
Can a BillQuick Online company be linked to multiple QuickBooks Online companies at the same time?
No. A BillQuick Online company file can be linked to only one QuickBooks Online company at a time.
What is "Sign In with Intuit"?
Sign In with Intuit gives users extra flexibility in using their Intuit credentials to sign into BillQuick Online. After an association is established, BillQuick Online will immediately and always sign in an Intuit user without any further prompts.
