Clients, Projects, Phases & Other Master Information

This is an overview level class that is recommended for new users. No prerequisites or advance preparation required.

This course covers master information such as clients, projects, phases, activity and expense codes, vendors, employees and other items. The goal of this training is to teach you how to set default values to speed up time and expense entry and how to set up and maintain default and special rates. The training covers how to use master information settings to optimize business rules during processing-facilitating efficient and effective decision-making. The course is available for BillQuick, BillQuick Online and Web Suite.

Time & Expenses

This is an overview level class that is recommended for new users. No prerequisites or advance preparation required.

This course introduces timekeepers to key BillQuick elements associated with time and expense entry—Activity Codes, Expense Codes, Bill Rates, Cost Rates, etc. It illustrates the different elements, how they're connected and how they impact time and expense records. The goal of this training is to teach you how to add, edit and review entries using Sheet View, Simple Time Card and Timer. Best practices for specific user types and different situations (e.g. entry vs. review) are discussed. Procedures will also be covered on how to submit and approve entries and use various reports. Shortcuts for easier, faster updating of information will also be covered. This course is available for BillQuick, BillQuick Online and Web Suite.

Billing in BillQuick

This is an overview level class that is recommended for new users. No prerequisites or advance preparation required.

The three stages of billing - Billing Settings, Decision-Making and Managing Invoices - are covered in the course. It covers client, project and other billing set up options and their impact on the final invoice. The goal of this training is to walk you, the manager, through generating a billing record through billing decisions to creating invoices for a variety of billing situations (i.e., hourly, fixed fee, recurring, percent complete, phased billing, joint invoices, etc.). Other information covered includes: post-billing reports, recording payments and A/R management. This course is available for BillQuick, BillQuick Online and Web Suite.

Open Training

This is an overview level class that is recommended for new users. No prerequisites or advance preparation required.

This course covers one or multiple tasks and feature/functions in BillQuick. It begins with a pre-session interview with your trainer to discuss the topics to be covered. Special firm situations are discussed, procedures outlined, and recommendations and best practices shared. The goal of this training is to give you a deeper insight into the fundamentals of BillQuick and learn how to fully optimize it using BillQuick Add-ons. This course is available for BillQuick, BillQuick Online and Web Suite.

Onsite Training

This is an overview level class that is recommended for new users. No prerequisites or advance preparation required.

With onsite training, you determine what topics are covered. This course is customized to suit your firm's needs. You can specify the topics to be covered while planning the onsite sessions. The goal of this training is to teach you the fundamentals of BillQuick through its advanced features, in either a group or a one-on-one training session.
