This course covers general default information such as global settings, and setting up employees, vendors and clients. The goal of this training course is to help you understand the foundational setup of CORE for successful business management. As a user, you will learn how to setup your global settings effectively for the company, employees, clients and projects. This training course will provide the basics for working in CORE.

This is an overview level class that is recommended for new users. No prerequisites or advance preparation required.

This training will give you an overview of the basic functionality of CORE. The goal is to briefly touch on the main features in CORE and is not intended to be a comprehensive training on any particular topic. As a general user, you will have an overall understanding of what you can do in CORE. As time allows, and as an overview, we will cover topics such as entering contacts, projects, time & expense and a brief look at how to run one an invoice.

Project Setup

This is an overview level class that is recommended for new users. Foundations training is recommended, prior to this class as well as all default setup completed.

This course introduces you to key CORE project setup details and how they're connected and how they impact time and expense entry as well as billing. The goal of this training course is to help you understand how to properly setup your projects for successful project management. As a user, you will learn how to build your projects effectively with key information such as fee schedules, budgets, notes, to-dos, and custom fields. Time & Expenses-Staff Level

This is an overview level class that is recommended for new users. No prerequisites or advance preparation required.

This course introduces your team members on how to enter time and expenses in preparation for billing. The goal of this course is to show the fundamentals of how to enter time and expenses through the different options we offer in CORE. This course is designed for your staff so they understand and develop good time and expense practices for efficient and accurate time entry. Time & Expenses – Manager Level

This is an overview level class that is recommended for new users. No prerequisites or advance preparation required.

This course introduces those responsible for managing team member’s time and expense entries and how to review and prepare for billing. The goal of this course is to look at how to setup the submit and approval processes as well as how managers can efficiently review their staffs time and expense entries for a smooth transition to the billing process, as well as managing time off requests and calculating overtime.

Billing

This is an overview level class that is recommended for new users. No prerequisites or advance preparation required.

The three stages of billing – Pre-Billing Review, and Managing Invoices, and Post-Billing Review - are covered in the course. It covers client, project and other billing setup options and their impact on the final invoice. The goal of this training is to walk you, through generating a billing record through billing decisions to creating invoices for a variety of billing situations (i.e., hourly, fixed fee, recurring, percent complete, phased billing, joint invoices, etc.). Other information covered includes: post-billing reports, recording payments and A/R management.

Project Management

This is an overview level class that is recommended for new users. No prerequisites or advance preparation required.

This course covers one or multiple tasks and feature/functions in CORE. The goal of this training is to give you a deeper insight into the fundamentals of CORE and learn how to utilize the powerful project management tools. We will help you collaborate with your team and manage your projects to ensure profitability. We will review the key performance indicators of your projects, assign items, and track projects from the initial estimate stage to the final budgeting and billing stage. You will also learn about task allocation, forecasting, Gantt charts, submittals, RFIs as well as drawings associated with the projects.
