BQE CORE is an all-in-one practice management software for Architects and Engineers. Our solution offers project management, time and expense tracking, accounting, billing and reporting functionality.
ArchiOffice is a legacy product. BQE CORE is our flagship cloud-based product. While they are both project management and account software, they differ in functionality and design. We no longer actively sell ArchiOffice. If you are using ArchiOffice 2016 (or earlier) and want to migrate to CORE, you do not need to convert your ArchiOffice to the latest version. Our Data Migration Team handles the entire process of migration to CORE, even from earlier versions of ArchiOffice.
BillQuick is BQE Software’s legacy time and billing solution, originally built to help professional services firms streamline invoicing, project management, and accounting. While BillQuick served thousands of firms for over two decades, it has since been replaced by BQE CORE, our modern, cloud-based platform that offers more powerful features, real-time automation, and enhanced mobility. We no longer actively sell or develop BillQuick. All new customers are onboarded to BQE CORE, which is designed to meet the evolving needs of A/E firms.
BQE CORE functions as an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution—specifically designed for professional services firms. CORE combines time and expense tracking, project management, billing, accounting, HR, and business intelligence into one integrated, cloud-based platform. Unlike traditional ERP systems that can be complex and costly, BQE CORE is purpose-built to deliver the power of an ERP with the flexibility, usability, and automation today’s firms need to stay competitive.
BQE Software was founded in 1995. The company was co-founded by Shafat Qazi and David Breiholz. The initial software they developed was called BillQuick which has since evolved into BQE CORE.
The CEO of BQE CORE is Matt Cooper. He has been at the company since 2023 and was a part of the investment group for 8 years prior.
BQE has a per-user pricing model. It is designed to be flexible based on the firm and their business needs. To get a quote, next steps would be requesting a quote from our pricing page and talking through your individual needs with a representative.
